Litter box training is under way

Our babies have mastered the art of the litter box.  Now that they are all using the two litter boxes, they see that their bed is a much more comfortable place to sleep.  I'm very proud of all.  Next week the kittens will have the run of the kitten room.  The week after that they will have the run of our house.  We will see lots of personality emerge at that point.
Some folks have inquired about the type of scratching posts that we use.  I encourage all to buy the tallest ones that they feel comfortable with.  Siamese love to climb and jump.  Even while very pregnant our girls are jumping, climbing, and hanging from our scratching post.  Our cats don't scratch our furniture because they have their scratching posts to keep them occupied.  I keep small scratching posts in the bedrooms and several throughout the house.  The cats and kittens love these.  The kittens will come to your home already trained, it is up to you to provide them with the materials.     Overstock.com, Dr.s Foster & Smith, Costco, & Angelical Cats are very good places to purchase these items.  If you have any questions, please feel free to let me know.
Below are several photos of our taller scratching post.  To put the posts to scale, know that we have ten foot ceilings.

8 little kittens from Ruby

Carolina Blues Cattery announces the birth of 8 beautiful, sweet little little kittens.  Mom and babies are doing great.  The kittens are so sweet, very alert, and loving.  Ruby is a great mom and is having no trouble at all keeping up with the little ones.
This blog will update each week with new photos of mom and babies.  Please copy the link and check in once and a while to watch your kittens grow.
All kittens are spoken for.
